The Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan, authorized by the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, has been leading Taiwanese delegations to the Yunus Social Business Day (SBD) annually since its inception. These delegations explore the latest global trends in socialbusinesses , exchange international case studies with foreign social entrepreneurs and sustainability experts, and bring back the newest insights to invigorate Taiwan's social welfare sector. This year's 14th Social Business Day was held in Manila, Philippines, from June 27 to 29, with the theme "An Exit Route From the Current Self-Destructive Civilization." The conference aimed to explore new ideas and innovative thinking to solve social problems and embrace a new future.

Social Business Day gathered social entrepreneurs and scholars from over 70 countries to discuss and exchange pioneering concepts in social business. The event featured a series of inspiring keynote speeches, with Professor Yunus delivering a significant address before his role as Chief Social Business Consultant for the Paris Olympics. The Taiwanese delegation included nearly 20 members, such as Ms. Juno Wang, CEO of the Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan, board member Fang-Wei Hsu, and other representatives. Joining them were Jun Zhou, Chair of the Maitreya International Community y, board member Hao-Chun Chou, Professor Henan Chen from Columbia University, Vice Director YIING LUEN SIM from Chihlee University of Technology YSBC, and student representatives.

Juno Wang, CEO of the Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan and was the leader of the Taiwanese delegation, mentioned that Professor Yunus's "3ZERO" vision -Zero Net Carbon Emissions, Zero Poverty, and Zero Unemployment, aims to connect international resources to create a 3ZERO world. She expressed her honor in being invited as a keynote speaker at the conference to showcase Taiwan's achievements globally. Last year, the Taiwanese delegation had seven opportunities to present on stage, and they aim to actively seek similar opportunities this year to highlight Taiwan on the world stage.
Philippa Tsai, President of the Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan, noted that Professor Yunus's role as Chief Social Business Consultant for the Paris Olympics this year will help transform the Olmpic Village into a haven for the homeless, embodying the spirit of social business. She hopes that the delegation members will gain valuable insights from Professor Yunus at the Social Business Day and exchange innovative ideas with global experts who share his vision, further implementing these ideas in Taiwan.

The Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan will document and share their international experiences and insights on their Facebook page, continuing to promote the development of a collaborative and benevolent model in Taiwan, striving towards a 3ZERO world and a sustainable future.
